Out with the old, properly
Replacement starts with demolition that respects your house. We pull the old floor, tack strips, staples, and underlayment without chewing up the subfloor we are about to build on, and we haul every scrap away. Then the part most owners never see: subfloor repair, flattening, and squeak elimination while everything is open. It is the cheapest moment those problems will ever be fixable.
The new floor goes in to the same standard as any of our installations: acclimated material, correct fastening for your structure, clean transitions, and trim finished to match. If the old floor died from moisture, we identify the source before the new one goes down, because replacing a floor twice is nobody’s plan.

The walkthrough
Thiago comes out, looks at the floor and the subfloor, measures, and talks through what you actually need. You get a straight price in writing before anything starts.
Prep and protection
Furniture moved, vents sealed, adjacent rooms masked off. Wood acclimates on site so boards settle before they are fastened, not after.
The work itself
The crew that quotes the job does the job. Boards laid tight, sanding done in stages, finish applied in thin even coats with real cure time between them.
The walkoff
We walk the finished floor with you board by board. Anything you flag gets fixed before we call it done, and the site gets left cleaner than we found it.
Do not replace a floor that can be refinished
Our first job on a replacement call is often talking you out of it. Worn-looking solid hardwood usually refinishes for a fraction of replacement cost, and we check wear layer before quoting either path. When someone insists your tired oak needs to come out without measuring anything, get a second opinion. We are happy to be it.

Measurement, not vibes. We check remaining wear layer at a vent or closet. Plenty of ugly floors refinish beautifully, and we would rather sell you the cheaper right answer.
Can you replace just one room?
Yes. We can match the new floor to adjacent rooms or use a clean transition where matching is impractical. Whole-house consistency is nice, but budgets are real and rooms can be phased.
What happens to the old flooring?
We haul it off as part of the job. If boards are salvageable, we will tell you, because reclaimed material sometimes has value for repairs elsewhere in the house or for other restoration projects.
How long does full replacement take?
Tear-out through final finish typically runs five to eight working days for a main level, depending on square footage and whether the new floor is site-finished. You get real dates in writing.
Will you find problems under my old floor?
Sometimes, and that is partly the point. Squeaks, past leaks, and rot show themselves during tear-out, when fixing them is cheap and easy. We photograph what we find and price any fixes before proceeding.
